The sun is setting in on 2010. All we can do is to either give thanks, or to rue for what a year it has been for each one of us. Some of us might just even think that it's just another day gone and there's really nothing to get emotional or hyped up about. Haha.

Honestly, this has been a very interesting year for me. I did not travel much this year, compared to the last year. But, I did learn a lot this year in which I never would have thought of before. Lessons in life are always so spontaneous and unexpected at times.

I did not start my year well. Went through a heartbreak really =S. Haha...not many people know, but the important ones knew, that's what matters, I guess. It took me a few months to get over it, and I did manage to get over it well. Thank God for all the family and friends supporting me and accompanying me even though they might not know it themselves.

This was also the year that I had someone much more special in my life. It literally made my year really. For what seemed to be months spent with this person, felt like it was worth a few years of time spent. I don't know, but I do feel that way. Haha...not sure if you guys get what I mean.

Anyway, this was also a year in which I found myself more and more suited to what I want to study and the career set before me. Until this day, I still find myself trying to find out what God really wants me to do in life after my studies. I think everyone gets that. But for one sure thing, I am not afraid now where He would bring me to. Have learned that His will is always the best even though it might seem the best to us.

This year was a year of servitude. Servitude! Such a ....big word...but only to be obtained by those with a big heart to serve. I found myself being involved more in the worship team in All Saint's. Played the guitar, played the drums, sang as a vocalist, and even worship lead. =) It was fun, being able to grow in spiritual maturity and to grow in unity. And I can't thank the church enough for what has been such a great experience! Thank you All Saints...anyone of you! The pastors who continued to encourage me, support me, and to teach me. The youth leaders..

Ahhh the Youth Ministry! Haha...I've actually grown attached to it! It was awesome! What I have not felt for the youth ...is such a big difference as I always feel so much affection for my youth now!

Anyway...Enough with the chatter...

This is going to be the last post of this year. I havent been posting anything for quite some time. Havent had the time or anything to write.

But, Yeah...One of the few reasons I'm writing this is to inform you guys that I will no longer use this blog as my Primary Blog. Will reveal the new one soon in a few days time!

"It's a new day, it's a new vision!" haha..

That song basically tells it all.

In a nutshell, the year's been great! But I think it's time to move on! Praise God for whatever happened, I'm going to look forward to what He has in store for all of us next year! It's going to be happening! It's going to be awesome! It's going to be a YEAR OF GREATER FAITH!! WOOTS!

Haha...yeaps...I'm going to KL for studies! It's gonna be another new adventure for me.

So I guess it's time for me to move on with this. relax im nt gonna delete this blog, but I'm gonna look forward to whats new, and for that, I think the new blog will suit it better!

Gonna post resolutions for the new year at the New Blog!!

My Goals ! I've never done them here...so will give it a try! =) Lets see how it goes and if I can actually complete them!

As we close for the new year, I encourage all of you to look forward to a year of whatever that might be in store for us.

Life is a gift, It is a Present. Who knows what will happen ?

But One thing im sure of, I'm going to glorify Him as never before, I'm going to do my best for the year, I'm going to eat as much (im kidding mom), I'm going to go all out this coming year 2011! Will you do the same?

I am not sure why, but today, I feel so bored.

So, I've been going through some history and hit upon the original reason about my blog url.

Since I started this blog, many people have been asking why would I want to have 3 e's on my blog.

It's just utterly confusing.

Fact is, when I wanted to have it with 2 e's of course,(saves up a lot of time typing that extra "e" huh?=p)

But, to my despair, "www.greenmango.blogspot.com" was taken by someone, apparently a lady from India I suppose as it looked like it in her blog.

I did not want to change to another url as this greenmango name sounded kind of nice.

So i decided with my co-creater FEEBS that we should just stick with the name + an extra "e"

Haha..so far I have not regretted, but it does sound catchy with an extra "e" huh?

Was a bit upset as this blogger hasnt been updating his/her blog since 2004, but got over that a long time ago.....three e's does sound more catchier heh...

Anyway, Was looking at her site just now and found this catchy "Mango fact of the Day"

I will be have a few posts regarding the term "LOVE."

It will be based on my thoughts, devotions, and feelings as well! XD( just to make it a bit more fun!)

You see, LOVE can be very complicated to some, yet simple and easy to others. But in order to really know what it is, we have to ask ourselves and others quite a few questions, don't we?

Still, after knowing it, we have to decide on whether to live a life of love or without it. That's why it's important to really seek for answers and understand it, because honestly, can we get enough of love?

The posts that I will be sharing from today onwards will be no more and no less than my honest thoughts and beliefs. It is based on my on-going compilation of understanding what it really is. So please, don't hesitate to join in. I sincerely believe we can all learn something from this, God willing! =D

So, today, i will start with a simple theme. Consider the few questions. I will be sharing my thoughts about them soon. Again, don't hesitate to comment.

Love, is it a "language?"

Consider the following:

(Love can be very general in terms. But is it a language? A sort of method of communication?)

(Many people know what love is, or think they know. But do they communicate with this language??)

(Is it easy to communicate with Love??)

(Hmm...how do i apply this into my life??)

The world is so full of surprises that we get messed up and confused.

We lose focus, get tempted, and are led astray eventually.

Then we stumble and then get woken up and ask ourselves...

What's life anyway?? It's so fragile...And can i do anything with it?

Am I living a full life?

Or...

A half life...(lol)

Or even NO LIFE AT ALL!!!!

Today I was reminded to look at the priorities in my life. Was I just having too much fun?

Sometimes you have so much fun that when it's all over, you just forget what your life is for anymore hehe...that's why it's always important to place the center of your life to Someone that is forever.

I was reminded to place my trust and to place Him first in my life. All of it.

Family Time, Friends Time, School Time, Sleep Time, All of it.

That's why it's time to refocus! Get a grip! It's never too late!

Remember, you'll always be stuck in the same position unless you decide to make a step forward!

Woohoo! Im super fired up! Let's do this!

I'm trying, cos nobody's perfect, but at least I'm trying.

Hey guys!

Its been sooooo long since i've been telling you about life and i realized how much fun i've been missing blogging Haha(right...*winks*)!..Anyways...i've planned a long time ago to blog about this since(right...*winks*) i was too lazy to blog the whole time..Bear in mind i might be stacking everything together inside this post since Dec 31 haha!p.s. sorry for all the late ones =D oh yeah..they are all late ones >.<"!

Anyway..its the 31st of December 2009~(not anymore)

Theres a year gone, and a new year emerging!

A year to reminisce, and a new year to set resolutions!

A year to thank and cry for, and a new year to look forward to!

A year of blogging..and a new year for more..(right...*winks*)

I know it sounds lame..and it will definitely get lamer next year! =p

Anyway..i take this time to thank God for what has happened this whole year! For He has really really shown me His grace and His miraculously powerful ways which humans fail to understand.

The whole year has been such a hectic schedule that sometimes i am caught up in the busy-ness of life to actually....reflect on it and now i've realise that I've had sooo many blessing to Thank God For!!!

I know ...of course we have many regrets and mistakes ...but without these regrets..there is nothing to reflect on in the next year..So Dont Look at 2009 as a year of regrets and mistakes..but look to it as a year of Strong Foundation!

Finally, my main point!

I just realized that i have travelled alone to so many places this year!!(last year)

the highlight was not of the places gone to, but the fantastic people met.

The travels were accompanied by emotions of happiness, anger, sadness, and shock. Haha..lets not get into details. It is exciting being able to see and understand different cultures, different people, and still of course, know that one God loves all of them. Just makes this world smaller and smaller, if you get my drift =)

To end the year, I spent my Christmas and New Year in good old Tawau.

Honestly, without going to so many places, I would not have appreciated the comforts of Tawau's friends, food, and most definitely family! (I shall not post pictures of Tawau cause if you dont know anything about it, just come to Tawau and see XD)

As I said, lets look to a new year. Let's make changes. Let's change the world by starting locally.

I'm not saying this for show. I mean it. So let's do it together. Coz i don't like to be alone.(right..*winks*!)

Guys, phoebe just told me she's going to get the new iphone 2010 when it comes out june 2010.
The new iphone 2010 will obviously include:

1. 64 GB Storage (Apple doubles the space everytime, without fail.)

Hey guys,

Today especially happy and relieved cos played drums for the last song in service here the first time!

Thanks for the encouragements!!

I was quite nervous not because i've never played bfore. but that I am not used to the environment...

I was actually quite unprepared even though I spent abt 2-3 hours practicing yesterday just for that one song...I was spiritually unprepared.

A Christian's journey can comprise of ups and downs and u all know...

One day you might be flying high amidst joys and accompaniment, then the next you might be full of vanquish and sorrow....or you're just plain bored lol...

Today a good friend reminded me that God did not promise us a world full of comfort and luxury.
But He promised us that we can overcome trials and temptations through praying and a firm relationship with Him...through faith!

I myself feel very down recently because settling down is not easy...
Honestly...staying without a family...takes time...
Trying to be responsible for my own actions...is difficult...
Days can be filled of so many worries...so many.....!!!!

But God is always faithful...
He proves Himself so faithful and loving....
Yet I always sin...am i taking His grace for granted?
I sometimes ask...

Before I played the drums I commited my actions to the Lord...
I asked God the nite before to give me a pure heart...a heart that is able to please God and not hurt Him...
A heart that yearns for God...

After the service i get many people saying, Ze Hao, you did well!
Nice drumming!!
Cool drumming!!

I am happy to say...

Praise the Lord!

Today i've had a good rest after recently being busy going out.

The people here are definitely friendly and kind..

While I will b happily back home in jus a few days, I shall be cherishing my last moments here as well..

Today is Sunday!
For the past few sundays, I havent really gotten any sleep....literally...havent slept since yesterday. It's not insomnia or anything, (I thought it was..), it's just that I have a real bad habit of staying up too late on the other days, messing up my whole biological clock... =S

Today, again, will I move about like a zombie,..well...at least after youth service...
Gonna prepare breakfast soon, and prepare for my 2 and a half hour trip to church...

Hey guys!!
You must be wondering " Finally the pics and the update!"
Yeah..haha congrats=.=
One reason i post this so fast is because i'm afraid i will forget about it later...hehe..
Anyways..how've you guys been?
Recently lots of ppl asking me how am i, how am i doing..
Well..I'm fine, was bored last week cos plans werent made
But!! finally, weeks getting busier and feel energy pumping through me again YAY^^
So Yesterday I went to church..but this time was different..I went to their youth service...
you see, not being along youth has drastically changed my..erm..habits..
My talk has become more and more serious...My face...mayb longer haha...
So I've been trying to get along with some youth here since day 1...
FINALLY THE DAY HAS ARRIVED...
But..One thing kept me from enjoying the moments..
I WAS NERVOUS...
for your information...this youth group is about..250 to 300 people..and the week before the youth pastor asked me to introduce myself 0.o...

This is how their youth service looks like..^^ O yea..thats the pastor in front.

So anyway..The service was all in Korean, so i had a really newly met friend trying his best to translate haha..gud thing the main point can be found in the Bible verse itself..
So, guys, one thing learned here is...BRING UR BIBLE EVERYWER(iphone bible also canXD)

So anyway, when the service almost finish, the pastor suddenly asked me to come out..
I was like..walking in the middle of the rows(sitting at the back)
Everybody staring at me 0.o..
And then so the guy helping me translate went up as well..

Few days ago, I was thinking...Hmm..will the youth there be responsive??
Will they be rude or friendly??
Will they like me??
Am i going to be accepted??
SO SCARED U KNOW!!!

When i took that step up the stage...I could hear applause from them coming strong and cheerful^^
The pastor handed me and the translator(his name's Daniel btw) both a mic
So the pastor asked me a few questions...
Here's how the "interview went"

Me: Anyeonghaseiyo~ (the youth all shout...OOOOOOOO and clap again..) =.="

After that service ended with a prayer and everybody seperate into groups..will talk abt tat next time..
So after the whole service ends..I was finding my way back to my stuff at the back when suddenly few Koreans come jumping out and joyfully greeting me Hhaha...So surprised that a smile escaped from me=.="
They were like "HI!!" " NICE TO MEEEEET YOU" HIGH 5!!!!!"
Haha..i thought i would never see this side of youth haha..
until now anyway..
So they said "Let's have lunch together!!!"
Then i was back at the place where i put my stuff...I was like..erm..i need to find my camera and Bible(It was placed somewer else by somebody..)
They were like 0.o and then STRAIGHT AWAY went all around to help me find=.=.....
After finding we went to the church cafeteria to have lunch haha..

So we had lunch together but after that they had to go for the adult service..(Cool)
So another friend tat wasnt going stayed with me while I met an American after that=.=..
Jasmine, one of the welcome team members of the church introduced me to him(american) and asked me to accompany him and make him feel comfortable,,.(i was quite new to the church actually=.=)
So anyway..After tat we went for YAMCHA!!!
I LOVE YAMCHA!!!!

After that i was actually invited to go to the youth music practice/jamming at 2..so at about 2 i reached the youth gathering place again..

Here's an interesting thing..
This morning during my trip to the church..I was listening to the song "One Way" thinking..hmm will the youth have songs like this??
When i reached there, they played this song as part of their praise 0.o!!!!!
Haha..anyway...by this time they knew i played as a music team member so they asked me if i could play a song with them..
Hehe..This morning when i was listening i was actually trying to learn the song One way..memorizing the beats..
So played the beat and we jammed for tat song which was cool..
After that they set up acoustic guitar for me and we started practicing..
Yeah..=.=..i'm playing as an acoustic guitar player next week=.=
After that we went to the malls and walk around^^

Feel glad and thankful that God really answer my prayers and that can meet more fellow brothers and sisters in Christ..

After going in, was alone till Korea..
So i decided to grab myself a cup of Starbucks..
And charge my lappie of course...

At this time, almost everybody were Koreans, since there was only the few Korean airlines going to Seoul at about the same time...
During my last trip, I had totally no idea abt Koreans..
But somehow..during this second trip there,,
I feel somewhat connected with them..^^

Was calling some people during my last hours while going about this ...erm..forgot the name dy=.=

Talked and talked...with my mom..and other ppl..till 12:45 when I got in the plane..hehe..

Here's my..erm...so called entertainment just bfore taking off....

HEY GUYS^^
Today I went out with my Korean family...
They said the community there had a some sort of a "plant event"
so i jsut went down and have a look, thinking tat it's a plant sale or something..

To my surprise it was actually quite contradictory...

For the first time in quite a while I witnessed a community gathering together to do one thing..
They were planting trees all around the hill just behind...
Everybody, from young to old were wearing gloves and shovels and all kinds...
Everybody seemed to work very well together...digging up some dirt...filling in the small trees...
After that everybody went down the hill and had a party...even though many dont know each other..

This is actually a response to the many "Earth Hour" posts...
ERm...well..I'm not against earth hour...nor am i full throttling at it at..
But after reading kim loong's post i feel compelled to say this..
Many of us...post earth hour...Support earth hour this support earth hour tat...
Hmm...but like what KL said..how many of us are actually consistently trying to save the earth than contributing to so many types of pollutions and waste??

Many take this opportunity even jsut to post up something in a blog...
To show that they are "IN"
How about the times when earth really needs saving???
Are we doing our part??
Are you going to do it even though nobody knows what you are doing??

The Korean community i'm staying in doesnt even know what this Earth Hour is...and there they were...gathering together to do something gud for the community...
We should ask ourselves always...
Why are things like they are??
Why are we doing what we are doing or gonna be doing??
Is what we are doing benefiting ourselves only(primarily?)?
Are we actually doing it to glorify God??

Support Earth Hour not only for that hour..
Support earth because u want to be a gud steward of God...

I guess the blogger is traveling right now. To Korea.

Which is, in a way, a good thing. Because then he'll have things to blog about, like his journey there, how he said goodbye to his friends and family in Tawau, what he's doing there, at Korea. And I'm sure, lots more.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure its a sad for him to leave his family..and his friends in Tawau for Korea. I guess this is just life, yea?

I am here as a guest blogger, because this poor blog has been abandoned by its evil owner. So am here to revive it!

I have nothing to do anyways. Though there are homework, but oh wells :P

So, I'm gonna start by telling you this blog's birth story.

It was when Ze Hao, this blog's supposedly owner ( =P ) saw forgottenkissescookies and thought,

"My oh my, what a nice blog, and there are lots of nice blogs out there, maybe i can make a blog and make it a nice blog by blogging. Won't that be so very nice! To have my very own nice blog!"

He then asked forgottenkissescookies how to make a blog, how to give his blog a nice skin so that it will become a very nice blog. Being her very nice self, forgottenkissescookies gave him the recipe.

But something was missing. Of course, the NAMING part! The "what my URL should be" part. The crucial bit, because of course, a nice blog should have a nice name. So it can be nicely remembered by its very nice readers.

So Ze Hao started to ask forgottenkissescookies, what should my blog's name be!! So FKC (forgottenkissescookies) began to ask questions. Like what do you eat, what do you drink, what places you like, what appears special to you, what color you like, bla bla, your life experiences, stuffs like that.

I can't remember how, but he suddenly told her that he likes Mango. And the color green.

So she linked them together. Since a young mango, one that is not ripe, is green...

Young mango = young Ze Hao. So there, greenmango.blogspot.com

BUT! Some other people took that URL, and the latest post on that blog was one made YEARS AGO. Lifeless people...

So had to think of an alternative. Which is... greeenmango.blogspot.com.

Green with double E. Catchy = D

There, a very nice blog name, don't you think!

SAY YES : @!!!

Within a few hours, Ze Hao was very happy with that he was seeing.

Thus the birth of greeenmango.blogspot.com

Baptism

Yesterday I was reminded of something very special - Baptism!!

When Martin asked me to take pictures for his baby boy's baptism, I just simply said Yes.

Baptism to me was just a ritual...it didn't really mean anything to me anymore..

But yesterday..

this is what happened..

I was late...=S

Thought that the baptising would be half an hour later...so when I got there I was surprised that everybody was gathering at the pool already...

Boy was I surprised and i straight away rushed through with brief replies of..."EXCUSE ME EXCUSE ME!!"

So when I got there, PHEW,, was jus in time...Alvin(Martin's baby boy)

Was just getting in...I took out my cam and started taking the pics

Excuse me...coming through..!!

As I took the pics, I noticed something about the whole atmosphere..

I sensed so much joy...as if the church had gotten a big treasure ...

Even I felt joy!!

To my realization it was this joy of welcoming new believers into the body of Christ.

It was as if the heavens were rejoicing!

Families being baptized!

And as I continued taking, I realized that a church cannot be just a church of traditions...

But what I see at that moment is that our church seems to be growing..

And with that there seemed to be a joy coming out of everyone..

It is indeed joyful..

I cannot find words to express lol

So enjoy these pics..PRAISE THE LORD!!

The day ended, everything went back to normal, but the body of Christ is growing more and more!!

The Heart of Life pt. 1

This recent trip has really got me thinking in many different things. Whether it may be having fun, business, or study, or even politics!!, I feel that there is so much things to learn about and so many questions to ask!!

When we live out daily lives, what's our purpose?

Why do people do what they do?

What drives them?

Why are some people not doing anything at all?!

Why is there so much indifference?

Is there no such thing as a perfect world?

Why so many questions?

This is life...

But in the end, how do we keep on balancing our lives in such a world?

Everything I ask comes to one final solution..

Without God, there is no real peace....

Without God, there is not much purpose....

Without His Word, we remain imperfect humans unguided by His Light.

Why then,? is there still so many people not believing in His Word? Not living the life of a real Christian...Have we been hypocrites all this while?

I find myself stuck in the same sin again and again...

Where do we find consistency in life??

Can we find it in love? Money? Happniness? Friends? Family?

Finally, are all these questions necessary??

Hmmmm...so exhausted from thinking...

God is our only Light...in Him what we find answers...it may not be straight away. But all His answers are amazingly logical and simple...

Jesus said, "Seek and you shall find."

Why are many of us not looking and seeking God and His word for answers and still doing the same things again and again??

Christians...in this time...how should we respond to the world if the world looks to us for answers...

Are we able to answer them in confidence that we have faith in God??

Are we really prepared to serve Him in truth and sincerity??

Are we actually living the life of a real Christian???

For everyone...WHAT is the HEART of LIFE??

I have been in KK for 3 days already, and all of the time have been quite busy, but still managed to get a few pictures to upload. What I have done^^ here is that I have settled my future plans as in my education. Will tell where I am headed to soon...

Went to eat lots and visit many places, well, I can say that at least my leg muscles are in full fit form now since I have walked so much hehe..

We got to SS a bit here and there since we got a camera..

Ladies and Gentlemen, modern fashion photography has never been so prominent..

Actually , scratch what I just said about modern fashion..

We took to ourselves the task of tasting different donuts WEEEE

Some were horrible, while some were pleasantly delicious..

It was on one day..when I was busily lying down on the couch...resting..at the cafe..

That I was suddenly tapped on the shoulder..

I wonder to myself( you can only wonder to yourself, actually)

"Who could that possibly be...?"

And as I turned around and looked...there stood before me was...

Mr. Dragon!!!

I immediately stood up and greeted him...he greeted in return...

And in a an exchange of a few Korean sentences with another staff of the cafe,

He said to me..."Son, you are going skiing with me.."

And suddenly, as though a flash of thunder struck me, my mind felt as if a full bottle of pure caffeine had struck me and I suddenly felt alive once more...

(Bear in mind that the author of this unimaginable mess of words is just talking rubbish and are mostly fictional)

Anyways..

So...on the glorious day, I went to Vivaldi Ski Resort!!!

Ooo....actually i wanted to go partly because I wanna meet this lovely singer KEKEKE~

The Daemyoung Vivaldi Park is basically like tat at summer

and at winter...

Yes, tat's me..i know..this shows how big the resort is HAHAHHA

Just look at the comparisons...lols..its actually quite big la

The atmosphere was great...even at night times and even midnight you can see some people skiing and snowboarding

Well..just to infrom you, I was snowboarding, not skiing.

The experience was....quite...an experience..

I hurt myself in the process, but i think i can at least go confidently on the lowest course hahha

My mucsles are so sore!!!!

~Chocolate Making~

Hey Guys..today, I'm going to demonstrate to you on the art of chocolate making!!!!

Lols...mayb not tat pro yet, but here's a bit of a demo to show u guys wat i've been doing here to ease the pain of boredom and loneliness and to fulfill one of my main purposes here blah blah blah..let's get on with the chocolate making shall we??

So!!!

Today..we will learn what is called ..believe it or not..the.(ladies and gents i proudly present to you,,,drumrollllll)

BONG BONG CHOCOLATES!!!

Ingredients & Stuff...

1st. A human being to actually make the choc..

2nd. Choc-making ingredients..lol...i dun wan to say now...mayb next time..

3rd. apron

4th. Most important...chocolate...having the choc bar..melt it...slowly...and then place it in a pan or something..

So..these are the main things u should noe..

here goes!! Let's go make Bong Bong chocs!!

-1st step-

~Tempering~

Place the molten choc(lol sounds coolXD) onto a marble table..now..u must haf marble tables to maintain the temperature and for the temperings...

Tempering is the hardest part of making choc...requires speed, efficiency..and experience..

So..i;m a noob basically..but well..this pic shows tat im not too bad ..right?????=S

-2nd Step-

~Cooling~

After tempering, place the choc back into the container and stir steadily for about 30 seconds.

After that..place the choc in whatever shape of container u wan it to b^^

I myself chose something tat I liked!!Anyways u will see the end product later..~

Wat I'm actually doing in the pic is tat i'm hitting the container against the table...now why is tat u may ask? Well my fellow friends, its to get rid of the air bubbles stuck inside the choc...

So u wont get a hollow choc for new year or chirstmas =S

After that pour the choc back in...now ppl..tat is just for the covering ya~not so easy de keke..

Now..place the choc covered container in the freezer for about 15 minute

Hey!!! remember to always jot down notes=D

-3rd step-

~Fillings~

Now...you can put any fillings u wan...what i have here...is a white choc mixed filling

you can put a hint of cinnamon in there but i didn'tXD...

And also...vanilla seeds...makes a whole lot difference!!

JUST KEEP STIRRING

After that...

Place into a plastic, now if u notice tat its green color now..its tat bcos i haf put some green tea powder into the mix...I LOVE GREENXD

so...put it in...close to opening and cut the plastic at one edge..there are special plastics for these things FYI

Take out the choc covered container after 15 minutes and fill the white choc in!!

So..in this pic..one belongs to me and one to Mr. Park.

BTW...Mr. Park is my teacher...a chocolatier..oOo..he's been in Chile for ...15 years...just for making chos...so..i think he's quite gud

Ok anyways..after that...

-Step 4-

~Covering the Filling~

Let some of the hot choc cover the filling...Now this looks simple..

But here's a fact..its not as easy...timing is very important..if too fast..well...fast is gud..

But if too slow..The choc will slowly harden and grow thick. So timing is essential for making gud choc~

After covering the fill place in freezer for about 30 minutes.

Then ...get a pan like this

~Finishing~

Lols..this is not me 30 minutes later..this is Mr. Park with his own chocolate shape..u wont wanna know the shape lols..

Hey guys...haha..i've been lazy to update..but anyways..here i go~

Life in Korea, what do u think, is it easy or hard getting to learn korean?

Do you get lost in the city?

Is the city really big?

What stores are there?

What kinds of food are there??

Well...what i'm abt to share is just my daily life there...

If u come to Korea, you may just experience something totally diff cos...eh...i dunno the reason..i just think that's gonna happen..anyways..

I like to share about Sundays, because I am having the best mood during Sundays. Sunday is carefree, relaxing, and most important of all..get to listen to God's Word with God's ppl!

To tell u the truth, I feel refreshed after every service...

normally everything in this city seems hectic and unfriendly so to speak.

But after being in church, you would just feel like hugging everyone u see hahaha..

Not that i'm gay or something la=.="

Basically Sunday's a nice day for me=D

First, I'll share what i'll do on sundays haha...

I promise u...it'll kinda b boring XD

Continuing to read is all by ur own risk....BEWARE!!!!

Okay I'm back...lols...sorry today a bit wacky XD cos it's a Sunday!!!=.="and also cos i drank a latte and an espresso...

This thing will vibrate when orders are done

...And then I would normally look around...find liang moi...and stuff...just looking at the Korean community...Sometimes you can see diff aged of ppl walking around..going to their diff destinations..and I will just sit back and relax and drink my coffee and say,"ahhh city life-.-"

Haha..i'm getting ss'ed now..Anyway..After that, I would go and mayb get something to eat or go home..

I would go get some burger king and sit in another cafe chatting with friends back home..( I love it!!!)

and download movies...and chill..and chill..

Well...haha..i'm getting bored myself...

So..tat's basically my Sunday life...

Life here...honestly...is full of different sorts of entertainment, food, people, a different climate to be in...a different background...freedom...It sounds fun i know and exciting to some..

Hi..1st of all, i wanna dedicate this post to God. He is truly God Almighty and has answered my prayers even in here, Seoul.

Well, I'm gonna talk abt my experience in the church that I attended here these 2 weeks.

Last week I had the most peculiar experience in going to church.

Ok..erm..i'm embarrassed from telling this experience..dont u laugh...i know u are going to..but I'll just share anyway.-.-"

So here goes...

Last Sunday, 7-12-08, went to Bethel church...

Ok..i'm gonna post pics soon..but not now anyway..

So, there i was ...everything looked nice..and it had these really really really really really long escalators...like...from the bottom of HOP until the top?

anyway..I din know that time what it was for..but i knew one thing for sure..

I was late!!!!

So, Zzang and I sat down..and then a song was on that time...and all we were looking at was a screen...Then, i thought that the whole service was recorded...I was soooo disappointed and kind of upset...but anyway...after that song..the pastor(in the screen) prayed for quite a long while..I didn't know what he was praying since he was praying in korean...but after that...guess what? The service was over...lols...I was like..swt....okai...so Zzang and I went to eat first then catch the next service..which was at 12...

After eating..service was still(on projecter screen.) So, zzz...I spent abt 1 hour plus listening to a Korean pastor preach in korean...lols...couldn't understand a thing..so i spent the time reading as much english i could find in the bulletin..which was like..abt..1 sentence?read it like 4 to 5 times...Anyway..the sentence was that the 10 o'clock service that i missed was the only one with english translation..and that i needed to get a receiver from them in exchange for some sort of an id from me.

Anyway...i was still kind of frustrated after the service..since i understood absolutely nothing except for the Bible reading..

that sunday...got home...read the Bible Scripture...and tried to have own devotion as my own "service."

So...tat's last sunday..the thing i couldnt understand was that though the church looked so big..the place i was in was comparatively small if matched with the whole building...I just couldn't understand...and there were those escalators which i had no idea lead to who knows where...and after service so many ppl coming down from it..lols...i was too frustrated to think at that moment..couldnt find out anything...

Until TODAY!!

Yesterday..i really was struggling..cos i din know what to do..seemed like 10am service was for me but i dun know if i could get the receivers...was frustrated..so prayed to God abt it..I committed everything to God and just decided to do my best to reach the service on time.

This morning...

managed to reach on time..

But when i got there, i was expecting to go back the same place..

But then nobody was there yet...and sooo many ppl were rushing up the escalator...so..

i decided to follow them..i kept on going until i saw a cupboard full of receivers..Thank God it was easy to find..There was a lady there...so i asked if this place was where i would get the english reciever...and she said with a kind and friendly smile"yes!"

I tell u..i was so happy that time..I felt that i could listen to an English sermon already..

So, guess what i gave her as a "some sort of an id"..hehe..gave her my yacht club member card lols..cos i din bring anything else...asked her if that would work..and then she said yes..

So i continued to follow the big crowd after that...and this "wave" seemed to be climbing up the building..and I was feeling a bit uneasy going up and up until I reached a door...as i went in...LOLS>>>this is the part where i am most embarrassed to tell abt...

Ok...remember when i said the projector showed the whole service and it seemed like it was recorded..well the reason is that when i saw the service..it looked so big as if in a really really big hall...could fit tens of thousands..so i thought:"this couldn't be the place..mayb just a branch of Bethel church"

And when i opened this door...I found out tht everything was actually live...I just entered the huge area that seemed to be just a recording..

Then i finally understood...the whole church is so big that even that hall couldn't fit all..

I just found out that when the church service is being held...the church restaurant is even being used as a place for ppl to go to...cos there were projectors there too...

Basically tens of thousands of ppl were attending each service..

Well..i managed to sit down comfortably...couldn't take any photos..just a few...but anyway..U can look at the church at www.bethel.or.kr

Lols..i'm not trying to promote this church but..

It seems that God has really answered my prayer and dealt with my "small" problems..Today...i learned in service to pray to God abt my problems and end my prayer with a joyful attitude that is awaiting for God to answer my prayer and praising Him for who He is..Feel that God has made everything smooth again and it seems that God is connecting every part of my life together so perfectly..and today i'm just so refreshed...THANK GOD!!!!all glory to HIM!!

After the service i gave back the receiver and the nice lady saw me again..she asked where i was from..and i replied of course..and she said there were 2 other malaysians there as well..hmm wonder who tat could b...anyway..lols..She said she hoped to see me again..so..i am deeply encouraged...btw..this is an elderly woman ah...dun think wat wat^^

That's all that happened..funny experience for me though..one of the fact because i was alone in a place where hardly anyone could understand me and I to them..but still God guided me smoothly and I can say that church is indeed a wonderful place where brethren dwell together in unity!!Praise the Lord!!

P.S. missing u guys and church back at home as well larXDXDXD

~3rd Day~(finally!)XD

Hey guys...sorry haven't been updating, had been busy a bit...anyways..i'm posting abt my 3rd day here, and I'm gonna show on of the nicest meals of a Korean meal.^^

So, let's start...

Today, went out with Mr. Eddie to meet his family...

So...got up and went with Zzang to the subway and then to the place where Mr. Eddie is..

Haha..when we got there..he asked...are u hungry???

Of course i was! actually i had just eaten my breakfast...but...

you know meXD...

Anyways..went to this nice cafe to have a bit of a snack..

The cafe was really nice actually..very classy..comfortable and most importantly...WARM!!!

So we grabbed a cup of coffee and some breads and sat down to eat.

Ok...then..after that..Mr. Eddie taught me about how I should use the subway and stuff..(i was so confused at first=S)

Hey..cut the long story short=p..went to visit Mr. Eddie's sister's house..nice family..along with Mr.Eddie's wife..

Met their kids...very cute bunch i would say haha...especially Mr. Eddie's nephew-Leonardo~

They kept trying to speak English with me..

It looked cute cos they were trying with so much effort to speak..

Anyway..Mr. Eddie's sister wanted to buy us dinner..So off we go~

St. Patrick's Playschool Graduation Night

Graduation!!

Crowds cheering, children screaming at the top of their lungs! No it's not summertime...But...on the 26th of September, St. Patrick's Playschool were proud to have their annual Graduation Night!!! Anyway, I was there because Joel and Xiao wei were the M.C.'s, and as a friend, have to go support themXD!!
I practically walked around the church again and again cos it was kind of boring to me,...seeing all the kids running around...singing...jumping...dancing...performing-doing what they do best to catch all the attention from us "grown-ups"~
Hmmm...the performances were not bad actually, and it kind of moved me to see these kids jumping here and there...
Today in school, I was reading that when we go to heaven, we should go as how children go, as innocent...wow..hmm..wanna noe abt it? look it up in Matthew!
Anyway, was roaming around the church, talked to quite a bit of people...Desmond, Siew Yun, other people...and other people...and Desmond...
Manchester UTD ROCKS!!!XD
Anyway, that was for desmondXD!
In the end, I finnaly got to "settle down" and I was sitting with Miss Angelina, talked to her, and with tohers...it sounds boring i noe...but strangely one can feel a homely feeling inside house of prayer even though the magnitude of boredom seems so embalming..(watever that means)
After that the giving out of the grduation thingy's, we went outside and they were serving refreshments, so WE had to get some...took some pics, talked with some friends(again)..
It was good fun la...though a bit empty...still thank God for everything...life goes on..XD
I feel inspired to give God the glory by the many blogs that I haf read...All of their posts end with "give God glory": "thanks be to God," and others..I do hope they say it for real la...

Hey guys..finally had the time to blog...

Life was busy..this week was a hell of a week...had some ups and downs...quite tired this week because of the late sleeping times...Hai..well..mood was quite unstable even though didn't show it to anyone(luckily)..but i still wanna thank God that I'm still alive..~phew..Hey isn't that Jonathan's Tse's new song??lol-.-"..Anyway had the annual student photo taken yesterday along with my classmates...had fun not spending time studying haha..hope they come out good though...O yea..there's a new supervisor in school, well, just part-time..but that's still gud=D..Anyway..something's been bothering me..or might I say..finally caught my undivided attention..that is...abt my future studies etcetc..
Seriously have no idea where to go now but to wait for God's divine planning~
So many questions...should i go for this, or should i go for that??
Mayb this place offers better stuff,, but that one still sounds gud..
Grr....no idea what to do now...
Today had an interview/assessment thing with an aussie lady..not sure abt going to aus, hope not..but i think i'll just b waiting on God..

Mooncake Celebration

Hey guys, finally got the strength to go on with my blogging...was quite "lemah" to do it the past few days because of the busy schedules of school life..so here is a simple post lar..I went to a children's mooncake festival celebration"thingy" in church=)..It was quite fun...well...was involved in a dance thing....which was like the message of that night..which is that we are to "shine out our lights for Jesus(Ref. Matthew 5:14)." So..did the whole dance thing,...felt a bit awkward in the practices, but it turned out quite alright in the end(phew!) Here are some pics..

At first there was sooo little people inside the church and I was beginning to wonder if the turnout was gonna be at ok or not..It rained that evening just a few hours before as well..So we were hoping that ppl would come..
Well...there is basically nothing to talk abt in this picture, but well...it serves as an intro lah..haha
I was bored there...finally got to rest from the children's worship team that night(THANKS BENITA!!!)
Even though wasn't in the worship team i still got the chance to play the drums for the heart preparing song(WEEEEE~)

So after that we finally started..

After that all the kids went around the whole church praying for different countries and we all had a great time hanging lanterns while walking around with everyone together as a church.
It was felt quite good in the sense that our church is like a family even if it's just hundreds of kids praying around the church.

~Farewell~

Today some of us were supposed to have lunch with Mdm Khor but it turned out that they had some things to do and were busy. So our hope of having the last lunch with her was utterly destroyed...We were all forced to continue with our own things in our own respective places..So, I was at home watchin' tv, using the comp, drinking, eating, and practically all the things that fit in the description of "BOREDOM!" Everything seemed so boring, and I was about to finally do my homeworkXD until a thought came!
I called up Jonathan and we talked over and came up with a last minute plan to spend our rest of the day. It was about 2 when I got ready to go out...showered and got dressed especially with my new PDI shirtXD(PDI ROCKS!!) and when I looked outside from the window saw Jonathan's car already-.-"..that was fast..^^ Anyway quickly got the camera and the stuff I needed into Jonathan's car and off we went into town!!!
First got to the bank to get some cash(I'm broke =S) and then went to center town and finally got parking and stepped into our local gift store "Sunflower." Wanted to take some pics there but needed to ask, so too lazy to do anything about it and just concentrated in getting what we needed to give...We were looking around to make sure we got the right things(not too extreme..not too insensible)..

Yeah...asked last minute if we could visit her and she said can..Haha..we talked and talked in the lobby about random things and practically had a good time with her =).
Yup~ Joseph was there and was running around happily..got to take a pic of him...

Joseph was as jubilant as the bright morning sun(as always XD) and was, honestly, as cute and innocent as a child will ever get...
Jon and I got to take some pictures together with them as well...By the way, if you were wondering where Mdm Khor's husband is, he's back up in the hotel room with his parents visiting the whole family...Anyway...here are the pics..

We then finally gave her our presents which we bought from sunflower...
It was of two cups which is for Mdm and her husband, then a Mickey Mouse pillow for Joseph..
We hoped Joseph would like the pillow, and just now Mdm smsed sayin thanks..
Especially of the pillow coz Joseph likes Mickey a lot...
OH YEAH!!!
Anyway...I'm sorry guys if any of u had hoped to join, but the reason we didn't include anyone else is because we didn't have enough time~

After that, Jon and I went back home happily and here am I writing this..

Dependence on God

Dependence

Hey guys,

Today was another great day of holiday haha...went to play basketball..with friends and stuff XD...

Anyway, this is not the reason I'm posting this.

I was lying down to rest, then my grandma came and talked to me...She is taking care of me and my bro while my parents are away(poor grandma)..

Anyway, she was worried because tonight she's going back to stay for the night and two of us(bro and i) are gonna stay at home all by ourselves(yeah!XD).

So as she was telling us to remember to take care of stuff before we sleep, like closing all the doors, ensuring the windows are locked, things to do if someone breaks in, I told her not to worry.

Then she asked if we could pray together for safety, and that struck me..

I had kind of been taking God's protection and everything else for granted. Many people have. Psalm 121 describes David's song as this:

Psalm 121

I lift up my eyes to the hills-

where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip-
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

The LORD watches over you-

the sun will not harm you by day
not the moon by night.

The LORD will keep you from all harm-

Such a touching yet true song describing our awesome God!
And yet...many (including myself) have many times forgotten Him when we are very comfortable with our lives...When trouble comes, only when we seek for God...
I am reminded today that I am a child of God that is never left alone by God, but one that is everyday held in the Father's hands..
I want to take this time to thank God for His awesomeness and His gentle care for each and everyone of us...
I am also reminded to always depend on God to help me through my daily life. And with that dependence, I am sure that God will bring me through any obstacles and difficulties that lay ahead! Amen?
I hope this will also encourage you and bless u all...
I also want to thank my grandma for reminding me of God...
She has always been a blessing in my life. I thank God for her!!!

Today was a nice "full" day~ Went out to buy ingredients for lunch at jonathan loh's place. So, jon, jack, and I went to buy stuff from servay, cold storage "kasimas," and other places...

After that, went to Jonathan's house to prepare, so here are the picsXD

FunTime

Today was a good day...well, everyday's a gud day-.-"..haha..so really want to thank God for all days..haha..
Well..actually i want to thank God for this day expecially..got to go out with some friends and have fun with them(haiya healthy fun lar)~
Went to get new contact lenses in the morning..then ate with jonathan loh and jack..practically spent time with them the whole 1st half of the day..
after eating went to play computer..erm..for like..3 hours..XDXD..havent been doing tat for ages..well..once in a while lar..
After that, i managed to get to taman fuji in time for one hour of badminton..
I played badminton with...erm..my brother, his friend adrian, roy and jason..all were quite gud..except for me-.-"
So we were playing doubles..and then after tat roy trained me a bit..haha..
So i think i'm improving XD...look out for me in the court..and be prepared to face me in a challenge...
Right..so..really thank God for such a packed time though it was quite simple..
Now my whole body aches ....zz...need to get a massage this week..MUST MUST..

Hey guys...guess what? Today is 31st of August! What a day! Everything today was quite fun..
Well i'm just gonna blog abt a party i went tonightXD...Here goes~

It was 7:45pm, just arrived at Nel's to prepare and go to a party/outing thingy. So, was preparing to go the party haha. It took like...1 whole hour for us to get ready cos there were so many ppl there..
