Baptism

Yesterday I was reminded of something very special - Baptism!!

When Martin asked me to take pictures for his baby boy's baptism, I just simply said Yes.

Baptism to me was just a ritual...it didn't really mean anything to me anymore..

But yesterday..

this is what happened..

I was late...=S

Thought that the baptising would be half an hour later...so when I got there I was surprised that everybody was gathering at the pool already...

Boy was I surprised and i straight away rushed through with brief replies of..."EXCUSE ME EXCUSE ME!!"

So when I got there, PHEW,, was jus in time...Alvin(Martin's baby boy)

Was just getting in...I took out my cam and started taking the pics

Excuse me...coming through..!!

As I took the pics, I noticed something about the whole atmosphere..

I sensed so much joy...as if the church had gotten a big treasure ...

Even I felt joy!!

To my realization it was this joy of welcoming new believers into the body of Christ.

It was as if the heavens were rejoicing!

Families being baptized!

And as I continued taking, I realized that a church cannot be just a church of traditions...

But what I see at that moment is that our church seems to be growing..

And with that there seemed to be a joy coming out of everyone..

It is indeed joyful..

I cannot find words to express lol

The day ended, everything went back to normal, but the body of Christ is growing more and more!!
