~Chocolate Making~

Hey Guys..today, I'm going to demonstrate to you on the art of chocolate making!!!!

Lols...mayb not tat pro yet, but here's a bit of a demo to show u guys wat i've been doing here to ease the pain of boredom and loneliness and to fulfill one of my main purposes here blah blah blah..let's get on with the chocolate making shall we??

So!!!

Today..we will learn what is called ..believe it or not..the.(ladies and gents i proudly present to you,,,drumrollllll)

 BONG BONG CHOCOLATES!!!

Ingredients & Stuff...

1st. A human being to actually make the choc..

2nd. Choc-making ingredients..lol...i dun wan to say now...mayb next time..

3rd. apron

4th. Most important...chocolate...having the choc bar..melt it...slowly...and then place it in a pan or something..

So..these are the main things u should noe..

here goes!! Let's go make Bong Bong chocs!!

-1st step-

~Tempering~

Place the molten choc(lol sounds coolXD) onto a marble table..now..u must haf marble tables to maintain the temperature and for the temperings...

Tempering is the hardest part of making choc...requires speed, efficiency..and experience..

So..i;m a noob basically..but well..this pic shows tat im not too bad ..right?????=S

-2nd Step-

~Cooling~

After tempering, place the choc back into the container and stir steadily for about 30 seconds.

After that..place the choc in whatever shape of container  u wan it to b^^

I myself chose something tat I liked!!Anyways u will see the end product later..~

Wat I'm actually doing in the pic is tat i'm hitting the container against the table...now why is tat u may ask? Well my fellow friends, its to get rid of the air bubbles stuck inside the choc...

So u wont get a hollow choc for new year or chirstmas =S

After that pour the choc back in...now ppl..tat is just for the covering ya~not so easy de keke..

Now..place the choc covered container in the freezer for about 15 minute

Hey!!! remember to always jot down notes=D

 

-3rd step-

~Fillings~

Now...you can put any fillings u wan...what i have here...is a white choc mixed filling

you can put a hint of cinnamon in there but i didn'tXD...

And also...vanilla seeds...makes a whole lot difference!!

JUST KEEP STIRRING

After that...

Place into a plastic, now if u notice tat its green color now..its tat bcos i haf put some green tea powder into the mix...I LOVE GREENXD

so...put it in...close to opening and cut the plastic at one edge..there are special plastics for these things FYI

Take out the choc covered container after 15 minutes and fill the white choc in!!

So..in this pic..one belongs to me and one to Mr. Park.

BTW...Mr. Park is my teacher...a chocolatier..oOo..he's been in Chile for ...15 years...just for making chos...so..i think he's quite gud

Ok anyways..after that...

-Step 4-

~Covering the Filling~

Let some of the hot choc cover the filling...Now this looks simple..

But here's a fact..its not as easy...timing is very important..if too fast..well...fast is gud..

But if too slow..The choc will slowly harden and grow thick. So timing is essential for making gud choc~

 

After covering the fill place in freezer for about 30 minutes.

Then ...get a pan like this

-Step 5-

~Finishing~

Lols..this is not me 30 minutes later..this is Mr. Park with his own chocolate shape..u wont wanna know the shape lols..

~Life in Korea~

Hey guys...haha..i've been lazy to update..but anyways..here i go~

Life in Korea, what do u think, is it easy or hard getting to learn korean?

Do you get lost in the city?

Is the city really big?

What stores are there?

What kinds of food are there??

??Got liang moi or hotties??of coz got la....

Well...what i'm abt to share is just my daily life there...

If u come to Korea, you may just experience something totally diff cos...eh...i dunno the reason..i just think that's gonna happen..anyways..

I like to share about Sundays, because I am having the best mood during Sundays.  Sunday is carefree, relaxing, and most important of all..get to listen to God's Word with God's ppl!

To tell u the truth, I feel refreshed after every service...

normally everything in this city seems hectic and unfriendly so to speak.

But after being in church, you would just feel like hugging everyone u see hahaha..

Not that i'm gay or something la=.="

Basically Sunday's a nice day for me=D

First, I'll share what i'll do on sundays haha...

I promise u...it'll kinda b boring XD

Okay I'm back...lols...sorry today a bit wacky XD cos it's a Sunday!!!=.="and also cos i drank a latte and an espresso...

This is what I did after church got 3 weeks straight..

After church, I will get down and out of the church(of course) and haha...I'll go yamcha!!!!

Unfortunately alone=(

Well..actually, I kinda like being alone here sometimes..as some would say crazy or emo...

NOT SO!!!

Haha..I would sit there..and order a cup of coffee or something....

This thing will vibrate when orders are done

(Tom n' Toms Coffee is similar to Starbucks)

...And then I would normally look around...find liang moi...and stuff...just looking at the Korean community...Sometimes you can see diff aged of ppl walking around..going to their diff destinations..and I will just sit back and relax and drink my coffee and say,"ahhh city life-.-"

Haha..i'm getting ss'ed now..Anyway..After that, I would go and mayb get something to eat or go home..

I would go get some burger king and sit in another cafe chatting with friends back home..( I love it!!!)

and download movies...and chill..and chill..

(Saw this sandwich cafe...mayb next week will visit..XD)

Well...haha..i'm getting bored myself...

So..tat's basically my Sunday life...

So...i'm gonna give this blog...erm..time...3 hours??and move on to a next and hopefully interesting blog post...

Life here...honestly...is full of different sorts of entertainment, food, people, a different climate to be in...a different background...freedom...It sounds fun i know and exciting to some..

But to tell u the truth..I can't enjoy all these without u guys:'(

Everywhere i go i haf an idea on what to post next...but thx to my poor memory i only can remember a few haha..so i will try to note down wat i'm gonna blogXD

I haf no ending or conclusion to this blog nor do i know how to...so...

byebye haha...i'll b "possibly""mayb" updating another one in the next coming few hours...so...i'm out..dun worry i think the next one will b more interesting..

P.S. by the way...my christmas was spent in a friend's hse..helping him pack something..I know...it's nothing much...and ther's nothing really spectacular abt packing some stuff..

But i'm glad I was there helping him ...Got closer mayb??in a gud way la:p

Church Service

~Church Service?~

Hi..1st of all, i wanna dedicate this post to God.  He is truly God Almighty and has answered my prayers even in here, Seoul.

Well, I'm gonna talk abt my experience in the church that I attended here these 2 weeks.

Last week I had the most peculiar experience in going to church.

Ok..erm..i'm embarrassed from telling this experience..dont u laugh...i know u are going to..but I'll just share anyway.-.-"

So here goes...

Last Sunday, 7-12-08, went to Bethel church...

Ok..i'm gonna post pics soon..but not now anyway..

So, there i was ...everything looked nice..and it had these really really really really really long escalators...like...from the bottom of HOP until the top?

anyway..I din know that time what it was for..but i knew one thing for sure..

I was late!!!!

So, Zzang and I sat down..and then a song was on that time...and all we were looking at was a screen...Then, i thought that the whole service was recorded...I was soooo disappointed and kind of upset...but anyway...after that song..the pastor(in the screen) prayed for quite a long while..I didn't know what he was praying since he was praying in korean...but after that...guess what? The service was over...lols...I was like..swt....okai...so Zzang and I went to eat first then catch the next service..which was at 12...

After eating..service was still(on projecter screen.) So, zzz...I spent abt 1 hour plus listening to a Korean pastor preach in korean...lols...couldn't understand a thing..so i spent the time reading as much english i could find in the bulletin..which was like..abt..1 sentence?read it like 4 to 5 times...Anyway..the sentence was that the 10 o'clock service that i missed was the only one with english translation..and that i needed to get a receiver from them in exchange for some sort of an id from me.  

Anyway...i was still kind of frustrated after the service..since i understood absolutely nothing except for the Bible reading..

that sunday...got home...read the Bible Scripture...and tried to have own devotion as my own "service." 

 So...tat's last sunday..the thing i couldnt understand was that though the church looked so big..the place i was in was comparatively small if matched with the whole building...I just couldn't understand...and there were those escalators which i had no idea lead to who knows where...and  after service so many ppl coming down from it..lols...i was too frustrated to think at that moment..couldnt find out anything...

Until TODAY!!

Yesterday..i really was struggling..cos i din know what to do..seemed like 10am service was for me but i dun know if i could get the receivers...was frustrated..so prayed to God abt it..I committed everything to God and just decided to do my best to reach the service on time.

This morning...

managed to reach on time..

But when i got there, i was expecting to go back the same place..

But then nobody was there yet...and sooo many ppl were rushing up the escalator...so..

i decided to follow them..i kept on going until i saw a cupboard full of receivers..Thank God it was easy to find..There was a lady there...so i asked if this place was where i would get the english reciever...and she said with a kind and friendly smile"yes!"

I tell u..i was so happy that time..I felt that i could listen to an English sermon already..

So, guess what i gave her as a "some sort of an id"..hehe..gave her my yacht club member card lols..cos i din bring anything else...asked her if that would work..and then she said yes..

So i continued to follow the big crowd after that...and this "wave" seemed to be climbing up the building..and I was feeling a bit uneasy going up and up until I reached a door...as i went in...LOLS>>>this is the part where i am most embarrassed to tell abt...

Ok...remember when i said the projector showed the whole service and it seemed like it was recorded..well the reason is that when i saw the service..it looked so big as if in a really really big hall...could fit tens of thousands..so i thought:"this couldn't be the place..mayb just a branch of Bethel church"

And when i opened this door...I found out tht everything was actually live...I just entered the huge area that seemed to be just a recording..

Then i finally understood...the whole church is so big that even that hall couldn't fit all..

I just found out that when the church service is being held...the church restaurant is even being used as a place for ppl to go to...cos there were projectors there too...

Basically tens of thousands of ppl were attending each service..

Well..i managed to sit down comfortably...couldn't take any photos..just a few...but anyway..U can look at the church at www.bethel.or.kr

Lols..i'm not trying to promote this church but..

It seems that God has really answered my prayer and dealt with my "small" problems..Today...i learned in service to pray to God abt my problems and end my prayer with a joyful attitude that is awaiting for God to answer my prayer and praising Him for who He is..Feel that God has made everything smooth again and it seems that God is connecting every part of my life together so perfectly..and today i'm just so refreshed...THANK GOD!!!!all glory to HIM!!

After the service i gave back the receiver and the nice lady saw me again..she asked where i was from..and i replied of course..and she said there were 2 other malaysians there as well..hmm wonder who tat could b...anyway..lols..She said she hoped to see me again..so..i am deeply encouraged...btw..this is an elderly woman ah...dun think wat wat^^

That's all that happened..funny experience for me though..one of the fact because i was alone in a place where hardly anyone could understand me and I to them..but still God guided me smoothly and I can say that church is indeed a wonderful place where brethren dwell together in unity!!Praise the Lord!!

P.S. missing u guys and church back at home as well larXDXDXD

~3rd Day~(finally!)XD

Hey guys...sorry haven't been updating, had been busy a bit...anyways..i'm posting abt my 3rd day here, and I'm gonna show on of the nicest meals of a Korean meal.^^

So, let's start...

Today, went out with Mr. Eddie to meet his family...

So...got up and went with Zzang to the subway and then to the place where Mr. Eddie is..

Haha..when we got there..he asked...are u hungry???

Of course i was! actually i had just eaten my breakfast...but...

you know meXD...

Anyways..went to this nice cafe to have a bit of a snack..

The cafe was really nice actually..very classy..comfortable and most importantly...WARM!!!

So we grabbed a cup of coffee and some breads and sat down to eat.

Ok...then..after that..Mr. Eddie taught me about how I should use the subway and stuff..(i was so confused at first=S)

Hey..cut the long story short=p..went to visit Mr. Eddie's sister's house..nice family..along with Mr.Eddie's wife..

Met their kids...very cute bunch i would say haha...especially Mr. Eddie's nephew-Leonardo~

They kept trying to speak English with me..

It looked cute cos they were trying with so much effort to speak..

Anyway..Mr. Eddie's sister wanted to buy us dinner..So off we go~

NOw..to tell u the truth..lols..i'm so not used to sitting down on the floor cross-legged for a long period of time...every meal, they would find me stretch my legs..haha..so awkward..
