Chocolate making 1



~Chocolate Making~


Hey Guys..today, I'm going to demonstrate to you on the art of chocolate making!!!!
Lols...mayb not tat pro yet, but here's a bit of a demo to show u guys wat i've been doing here to ease the pain of boredom and loneliness and to fulfill one of my main purposes here blah blah blah..let's get on with the chocolate making shall we??
So!!!
Today..we will learn what is called ..believe it or not..the.(ladies and gents i proudly present to you,,,drumrollllll)

 BONG BONG CHOCOLATES!!!

Ingredients & Stuff...
1st. A human being to actually make the choc..
2nd. Choc-making ingredients..lol...i dun wan to say now...mayb next time..
3rd. apron
4th. Most important...chocolate...having the choc bar..melt it...slowly...and then place it in a pan or something..

So..these are the main things u should noe..
here goes!! Let's go make Bong Bong chocs!!

-1st step-
~Tempering~

Place the molten choc(lol sounds coolXD) onto a marble table..now..u must haf marble tables to maintain the temperature and for the temperings...


Tempering is the hardest part of making choc...requires speed, efficiency..and experience..
So..i;m a noob basically..but well..this pic shows tat im not too bad ..right?????=S

-2nd Step-
~Cooling~
After tempering, place the choc back into the container and stir steadily for about 30 seconds.
After that..place the choc in whatever shape of container  u wan it to b^^

I myself chose something tat I liked!!Anyways u will see the end product later..~
Wat I'm actually doing in the pic is tat i'm hitting the container against the table...now why is tat u may ask? Well my fellow friends, its to get rid of the air bubbles stuck inside the choc...
So u wont get a hollow choc for new year or chirstmas =S

After that pour the choc back in...now ppl..tat is just for the covering ya~not so easy de keke..
Now..place the choc covered container in the freezer for about 15 minute

-3rd step-
~Fillings~
Now...you can put any fillings u wan...what i have here...is a white choc mixed filling

you can put a hint of cinnamon in there but i didn'tXD...
And also...vanilla seeds...makes a whole lot difference!!
JUST KEEP STIRRING
After that...

Place into a plastic, now if u notice tat its green color now..its tat bcos i haf put some green tea powder into the mix...I LOVE GREENXD
so...put it in...close to opening and cut the plastic at one edge..there are special plastics for these things FYI

Take out the choc covered container after 15 minutes and fill the white choc in!!
So..in this pic..one belongs to me and one to Mr. Park.
BTW...Mr. Park is my teacher...a chocolatier..oOo..he's been in Chile for ...15 years...just for making chos...so..i think he's quite gud
Ok anyways..after that...

-Step 4-
~Covering the Filling~
Let some of the hot choc cover the filling...Now this looks simple..
But here's a fact..its not as easy...timing is very important..if too fast..well...fast is gud..
But if too slow..The choc will slowly harden and grow thick. So timing is essential for making gud choc~
 
After covering the fill place in freezer for about 30 minutes.
Then ...get a pan like this

-Step 5-
~Finishing~

Lols..this is not me 30 minutes later..this is Mr. Park with his own chocolate shape..u wont wanna know the shape lols..

Now this is me with my batch...

Put enough care to it like this..

And eventually u will get....

btw, kwang ling, Labuan has lots of choc.. so don't expect to get some when ze hao gets back from Korea... (ok that sounded wrong!)
